Emote Yoga Basics      

When: Sundays at 4pm

Where: Fairfield East Community Center (2711 8th Ave.)

Emote Yoga is a specific style of hatha yoga developed by Gro’s founder, Jeannie Harrison, centered on building emotional intelligence. Development of these skills is vital to relapse prevention, building healthy relationships, and managing change.

Emote yoga is a combination of mindfulness meditation and movement, trauma-sensitive yoga principles, and partner yoga. Classes build the following components of emotional intelligence:

  1. Emotional Recognition
  2. Equanimity (emotional regulation)
  3. Empathy
  4. Engaged Empathy (helping others process emotion)

Open Farm                   

When: Closed for the Season

Where: Gro Farm (2317 10th Ave.)

Learn how to grow your own food in a healing, friendly environment! Open farm is a time to gather with friends, work hard, learn and create.

Personal Growth     

When: Mondays at 1:15pm

Where: Fairfield East Community Center (2711 8th Ave.)

Job Skills and Life skills classes, taught by Jeannie Harrison, Gro Huntington Executive Director and other volunteers.
